On a sunny day, Boundary Breaks is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed afternoon. Featuring a large outdoor space with expansive views of Seneca Lake, this winery is a bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth the drive. Claim a few Adirondack chairs or a picnic table and enjoy wine by the bottle, glass, or flight. They also offer a guided tasting if you’re interested in learning the ins and outs of their wine production process.
Calling all red wine lovers! Shalestone features a menu of unique and complex red wines. This family-run winery provides a warm and engaging tasting atmosphere for casual tasters and wine enthusiasts, alike. Shalestone’s tasting room is on the smaller side, and in the name of customer experience, they are currently reservation-only, so be sure to call ahead when you’re planning your trip. Hector Wine Company
Perfect for some midday light bites, Hector Wine Company features a small artisan market in their tasting room that offers up a variety of locally-sourced baked goods, produce, and packaged treats. Grab a fresh baguette, an assortment of cheese and cured meats, and head to one of Hectors’ outdoor tables. Enjoy a glass (or two!) of Hector wine and some snacks in a laid-back atmosphere. On the weekends during the summer, Hector Wine Company also hosts food trucks. Shuck Yeah! Can often be found at Hector Wine Company, presenting a variety of New England-style seafood offerings to customers.
